Changelog
FCC issues with LMS causing delays in REC eLMS.
Since Thursday, August 5, 2021, the FCC has had issues with the LMS system causing problems with being able to access applications and filing. Application filing attempts are logging out users and application retrievals are receiving 502 bad gateway errors.
FCC staff is aware of this issue and has referred to their contractors to resolve.
FCCdata: Database update- Mexico & Japan
Database update for Mexico. We are aware of some missing facilities. We will look into those.
Manual update to Japan FM broadcast data.
FCC.today: LMS actions from previous week
On weekends, FCC.today now shows FCC actions from previous week. Actions will not appear until after the LMS Saturday raw data update completes. CDBS weekend action summary runs earlier in the day. On Saturday mornings, seeing only CDBS actions in FCC.today is normal expected behavior.
FCCdata not displaying correctly in mobile.
FCCdata is not properly displaying in mobile. Turned off mobile optimized pages for now. We will do a project to bring mobile services back.
07/12/21 0953 : Bug cleared. Related to previous on screen notification of July major maintenance.
Internal transition of CDBS/LMS/eLMS/IBFS databases.
The objective in this maintenance is to optimize the database by partitioning more unreleated elements and combining those that should be related.
We have completed a transition of the UK and Ireland broadcast data into a separate database.
We have migrated the International Bureau Filing System (IBFS) data into its own separate database.
We have migrated eLMS, CDBS and LMS into their own separate databases.

eLMS integration of remaining CDBS FM records
Completed a process of retrieving 1,924 FM engineering records showing as active but without a full eLMS record. This will bring those contour maps into eLMS which should hopefully speed things slightly on FCCdata.
SCHEDULED SYSTEM MAINTENANCE JULY 3~5

ウェブサイトのメンテナンス。 すべてのサービスは、7月6日の午前9時までに戻ります。

LPFM.us: Mobile app in listings
Links to mobile apps in LPFM.us
With this update, LPFM.us, the national LPFM directory now supports the linking of station listings to the station's official mobile apps in Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Listings in LPFM.us will show with the Android and Apple logos. Clicking those links on the listing will take the user to the mobile app.
Links to the app stores will also appear on the station detail screen in LPFM.us.
Contour maps not properly displaying
The FCC's Contours API (geo.fcc.gov) has been unreliable since last Friday. Within REC, this has resulted in slow responses in FCCdata and has also caused eLMS to not properly get contour map data.
On the FCC side, this has caused problems with getting contour maps on their Online Public Inspection File system.
We have no ETU from the FCC.
This is an FCC related issue and is outside of the control of REC.
6/25/2021: Issue appears to be cleared.
New: LP-250 Antenna Check
New Toybox application that that will analyze a station's current antenna system to determine adaptability to LP-250.
The Antenna Check will accept the LPFM station's call sign. Upon entry, the system will check the LP250 database to determine application used in the LP250 upgrade result and then obtain the ERP and TPO, which will then be used to determine insertion loss between the transmitter and antenna.
Check250: Data update, alternate channels
Ran a fresh database update for check.lp250.com to reflect information as of close of business, June 11, 2021.
If the current channel is not upgradable, tool will advise of potential alternate channels for upgrade.
Clarified in result that main result is for "on-channel" upgrades.
LMSbot: Reliability enhancements
ISSUE:
LMSbot is not always advancing to the second page of applications filed or acted on in LMS Public View resulting in incomplete information on FCC.today and lack of updates in eLMS.
CAUSE:
The FCC's LMS system uses different internal codes to have the server advance the view to the next page. If the wrong code is sent, the page will not advance resulting in not being able to read the applications on subsequent pages.
SOLUTION:
Renewal Status: Amendments
